Not Legal Advice

PleadingReady is a formatting tool, not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice. It only lays out the words you type. Check your court’s rules before you file.

What PleadingReady does

PleadingReady works like a typewriter that knows the court's page layout. You type every word: your details, the parties, the case number, the document's title and the text. The tool puts those words on pleading paper with the line numbers, margins, caption, footer and page numbers that the court rules describe.

What it doesn't do

We are not lawyers

PleadingReady is not a law firm, a lawyer or a registered legal document assistant, and using it does not create any lawyer–client relationship. Nothing on this site is a substitute for the advice of a lawyer.

Check before you file

We base each format on the court's official rules and show the date we last checked them. Rules change, and a court can require more than the page layout. Check your court's current rules, and ask the court clerk if you're unsure. The court decides whether to accept a filing.
