The short version

Your documents never leave your device. Everything you type is laid out, drawn and turned into a PDF and a Word file inside your web browser. We never receive, upload, store or see your documents, and we can't, because they are never sent to us.

Your documents

What you type stays in your browser's memory on your device. When you close or reload the page, it's gone: we don't save drafts anywhere, including on your device. Download your files before you leave the page. The fonts and code the tool needs are downloaded from our own website, so no other company is involved in making your document.

Information collected when you visit

We don't ask you to sign up, and we don't collect your name or email address unless you choose to email us.

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare also measures how quickly our pages load (page timings and the page address only, never anything you type). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you choose the dark theme, your browser remembers that choice on your device. Nothing else is stored.

Advertising

PleadingReady may be supported by advertising. We may show ads from Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Ads never have access to your documents.

Cookies

The tool itself does not use cookies. Cookies may be set by advertising partners as described above. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before they are used.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
